MUNICH, Germany, May 30, 2014–Isabell Werth and Bella Rose turned in a dominating performance in the Pferd international CDI3* Grand Prix Special Friday, posting their seventh victory in eight international starts in their first year at the Big Tour.
Isabell and the 10-year-old Westfalen chestnut mare (Belissimo M x Cacir AA) scored 78.118 per cent, a fraction off their best result but displaying fewer of the small mistakes when they won the Grand Prix Thursday with a personal best score.
As in the Grand Prix, Sweden’s Patrik Kittel and Deja were second and fellow Swede Jeanna Hogberg on Darcia third, 71.824 per cent for Patrik and Deja and 70.255 per cent for Jeanna and Darcia.
All three top placegetters are 10-year-old mares.
Isabell and Bella Rose were placed first by all five judges, with Evi Eisenhardt or Germany awarding the highest mark, 81.569 per cent.
In their eight starts since embarking on their Grand Prix career at this same show a year ago, Isabell and Bella Rose have notched seven first places and one second place.
