Steffen Peters filled the top two spots in the United States Intermediate final rankings while his assistant, Dawn White-O’Connor ranked eighth on Aristo that she took over when her boss was restricted to two rides in CDIs and will send her to the Tim Dutta national championships in Gladstone, New Jersey in two weeks.

Steffen of San Diego, California, who also led the Grand Prix rankings with Legolas, topped the standings with Rosamunde, the seven-year-old Rhinelander mare bought as a successor to Legolas and his two-time Olympic mount Ravel by Akiko Yamazaki’s Four Winds Farm. He was second on Apassionata.

Christopher Hickey who was based in Colora, Maryland, ranked third on Ronaldo.

Kimberly Herslow of Stockton, New Jersey and Rosmarin, who were 2013 Intermediate champions but stayed at small tour for another year, were tied for fourth with Olivia LaGoy-Weltz of Reston, Virginia and Rassing’s Lonoir.

Heather Mason of Tewksbury, New Jersey was ranked sixth on Zar with Elizabeth Ball of Carlsbad, California and Avanti placing seventh .

Dawn White-O’Connor, who took over the ride on Aristo when her boss, Steffen Peters, was limited to two horses in a CDI was ranked eighth. She conducted a successful fund raising drive to pay for shipping the horse to the East Coast.

Charlotte Jorst of Reno, Nevada who also qualified in the Grand Prix championships, ranked ninth on Vitalis while Nick Wagman of Rancho Santa Fe and Zenith filled the 10th spot.

Silva Martin of Cochranville, Pennsylvania who was seriously injured in a riding accident in Florida almost three months ago and will not compete at the championships, finished in 11th place on Rosa Char W.

Alix Szepesi of Morris, Connecticut and Majco Thunders Hattrick placed 12th, Kasey Perry of Spokane, Washington and Goerklintgaards Dublet 13th, Allison Nimmo Dechant of Indian Hills, Colorado and Rufus 14th, Melissa Jackson of Bradenston, Florida and Whirlpool 15th, Justin Hardin of Long Valley, New Jersey and Wyatt Star 16th and Angela Jackson of Henderson, Kentucky and Allure 17th.
