ADDINGTON MANOR, England, Mar. 22, 2014–Charlotte Dujardin rode Uthopia, Carl Hester’s Olympic team gold and European Championship team medal mount,to a personal best in winning the Addington Manor CDI3* Grand Prix Friday.
Charlotte and the 13-year-old KWPN stallion that she competed for four months last year posted a score of 76.780 per cent that eclipsed their previous best of 76.404 set at Hartpury, England in 2013 and shy of the 82.568 per cent Carl logged at the 2011 Europeans in Rotterdam when Great Britain won team gold.
Carl rode Fine time to second place with 71.060 per cent and Daniel Sherriff on Bayford Hall Dallaglio was third on 69.440 per cent.
