SANTIAGO, Mar. 3, 2014–The South American Games dressage Nations Cup will be held Saturday with the possibility of a smaller than listed panel of judges and issues over the quality of footing at the Quillota Cavalry School 80 miles (130km) from Santiago.
Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador and Uruguay have confirmed teams to seek to qualify three countries at small tour for the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto.
The schedule lists the Nations Cup Prix St. Georges for Saturday, Intermediate 1 preliminary individual class on Sunday and the Intermediate Freestyle to decide individual medals on Tuesday. The competition is a major step up from the previous edition of the Games when it was at Junior level.

Elizabeth McMullen of Canada, an International Equestrian Federation (FEI) 5-star judge who is named in the schedule as president of the ground jury, has not received airline tickets or reservation details for the flight from Toronto to Santiago in time for the horse inspection on Friday.
