SALZBURG, Austria, Dec. 7–Switzerland’s Marcela Krinke-Susmelj and Smeyers Molberg won the Pappas Amadeus CDI5* Grand Prix Special Saturday, two days after claiming the qualifying Grand Prix.
Marcela and the 12-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding (Michellino x Rambo) scored 73.938 per cent for the win with Austrian Olympian and hometown favorite Victoria Max-Theurer and Eichendorff second on 72.917 per cent and Germany’s Isabell Werth and Der Stern OLD third on 72.083 per cent. The order of finish was the same as in Thursday’s Grand Prix.
This was the third straight year the Marcela and Smeyers Molberg have competed in Salzburg.
