SALBURG, Austria, Dec. 5 2013–Marcela Krinke-Susmelj rode Smeyers Molberg to their first victory in Western Europe this year when the Swiss combination won the Grand Prix to qualify for the Special at the Pappas Amadeus CDI5* Friday.
Marcela and the 12-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding (Michellino x Rambo) scored 72.255 per cent with Austrian Olympian and hometown favorite Victoria Max-Theurer and Eichendorff in second on 71.723 per cent and Germany’s Isabell Werth and Der Stern OLD 71.511 per cent.
The winning combination have notched four victories at competitions in Central Europe this year.
