SYDNEY, Nov. 8–Sheridyn Ashwood and Prestige VDL confirmed themselves as the dominant partnership in dressage in Australia this year by winning the Equitana CDI-W Grand Prix Friday, the last of four World Cup qualifying events ahead of the Pacific League Final to decide the sole representative from Down Under for the global final in Lyon, France next April.
Sheridyn and the 16-year-old KWN stallion (Silvano N x Goodtimes) scored 68.234 per cent for ther victory over the veteran couple of Heath Ryan and Regardez Moi in second on 67.596 per cent and Rozzie Ryan and GV Bullwinkle third on 67.340 per cent.
Sheridyn and Prestige won the World Cup Freestyle in Brisbane in July and the Grand Prix at Sydney two weeks ago to become the only partnership win more than one event in either the Grand Prix or the Freestyle in the four World Class competitions so far.
The Equitana Freestyle will be held Saturday and the PAL final in Sydney next month.
