SYDNEY, Oct. 26–Grant Baldock, Equestrian Austraia’s Chief Executive Officer for more than three years, has been reappointed through the 2016 Olympic Games, the national federation announced Saturday.
“We are very pleased to retain Grant as CEO of Equestrian Australia which will ensure further consistency among our leadership team for the next three years,” EA Chairman Dr. Warwick Vale said.
“The EA Board has new initiatives, program reviews and strategic objectives that are either currently initiated or about to be undertaken; there is exciting unfinished and ongoing business that the sport has to finalize and Grant’s role in this is vital.
“Grant has bought about strong, positive change for EA that included securing additional government funding, increasing our sponsorship revenue, introduced the Equestrian Grand Final, implemented a new junior participation program, delivered a partnership with Pony Club Australia and implemented significant reviews.”
The federation reported a surplus of more than $200,000 for 2012/2013.
