World Equestrian Games special passes will go on sale to the general public on Monday, Nov. 18 for the world championships of seven international horse sports in Normandy, France Aug. 23-Sept. 7, 2014.
Tickets labeled Pass Sport and Sport Integral will be available at https://ticket.jemfeialltech2014normandie.fr/ at prices as low as €10 (US$13.50). Tickets for individuals will go on sale in March next year.
Pass Sport will allow spectators to sit in the best seats to attend the top discipline on a day. Integral Sport Pass will be for an entire discipline.
Options:
Dressage – Aug. 25-29
Pass Sport for team qualifying Aug. 25-27 – from €28 (US$37.85).
Integral Sport Pass for the entire dressage program Aug. 25-29 – from €142 (US$192).
Jumping – Sept. 1-7
Pass Sport for the Nations Cup at Stade d’Ornano Sept. 2-4 – from €43 (US$58.15).
Integral Sport Pass for the entire competition Sept. 2-7 – from €296 (US$400).
Eventing – Aug. 28-31
Pass Sport Access for dressage and cross country at Haras du Pin Aug. 28-30 – from €51 (US$69).
Integral Sport Pass for dressage and cross country plus jumping at d’Ornano stadium, Caen Aug. 28-31 – from €80 (US$108).
Other events for which passes are available are vaulting, driving, endurance and reining as well as para dressage.
As many as 1,000 horses, 1,000 riders and 500,000 spectators are expected for the WEG, organizers said.
