ESTES PARK, Colorado, Aug. 16–Brian Hafner was the winner Friday of the Paragon Dressage Grand Prix with Lombardo and of the Prix St. Georges with California Chablis.
Brian of Petaluma, California won the Grand Prix with a score of 66.745 per cent in their third CDI Grand Prix this year after the pair won the Brentina Cup Under-25 title in 2012.
Jenny Baldwin on Chrysler was second on 62.532 per cent and A. Whit Watkins on Oublette third on 61.362 per cent.
Brian and California Chablis won the Prix St. Georges with 66.895 per cent, while Emily Wagner and Wakeup were second on 66.158 per cent. Emily and Wakeup were successful in U.S.young horse championships and competed in the world finals at Verden, Germany.
