FALSTERBO, Sweden, July 12–Tinne Vilhelmsson-Silfvén on Don Auriello led a Swedish sweep of the World Dressage Masters CDI5* Grand Prix Friday, her Olympic team mates of Patrik Kittel and Watermill Scandic H.B.C. in second and Minne Telde and Santana third.

In the Falsterbo competition that is a must-ride for hopefuls for the Swedish team at next month’s European Championships in neighboring Denmark, Tinne and the 11-year-old Swedish Warmblood gelding scored 76.426 per cent while Patrik and the 14-year-old KWPN stallion scored 73.660 per cent and Minna and Santana were awarded  72.468 per cent.

Tinne was celebrating her 46th birthday.

Ahead of the competition, Ellen Schulten Baumer of Germany withdrew because of a small injury to her horse Grosso’s Gentle and Painted Black to be ridden by Spain’s Morgan Barbançon did not pass veterinary inspection.
