ARNHEM, Netherlands, May 30–Hans Peter Minderhoud of the Netherlands rode the nine-year-old KWPN stallion Glock’s Ziesto to victory at the Outdoor Gelderland CDI3* Prix St. Georges Thursday, with Great Britain’s Michael Eilberg and Woodlander Rockstar in second place.
Hans Peter and Ziesto (Lancet x Clavecimbel) scored 75.053 per cent while Michael and Rockstar scored 70.026 per cent. Diederick van Silfhout of the Netherlands and Anne Beth were third on 68.711 per cent.
Shelly Francis of Loxahatchee, Florida competing Danilo, a nine-year-old Hanoverian gelding, in Europe for the first time placed seventh on 66.947 per cent. The scores ranged from a high of 70.395 per cent from C. Umbach of Luxemburg who ranked her second to a low of 64.342 per cent from Kirsten Soegård of Denmark.
