VIDAUBAN, France, Mar. 7–Carl Hester moved Dances With Wolves up a notch to win the Grand Prix at a higher score than their debut at the Vidauban Spring Tour CDI3* Thursday.

The British Olympic gold medalist and the 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding (Donnerschwee x Waldfee x Walldorf) scored 72.809 per cent with Finland’s Emma Kanerva and Siri Spirit second on 70.830 and Belgium’s Claudia Fassaert and Donnerfee were third on 69.894 per cent.

In the opening week of the two-week competition, Carl and Dances With Wolves scored 72.064 per cent in the Grand Prix that was the first international Big Tour start for the pair.
