LINCOLN, Nebraska, Dec. 11–A new fund in memory of Patsy Albers has been established by The Dressage Foundation to make an annual award to the highest placing dressage rider at the U.S. Equestrian Federation’s High Performance Championships who also competed at the North American Junior/Young Rider Championship.
The award, the first to be made in 2013, will provide financial support for continuing education and training.
Patsy was a well-known figure at dressage shows across the country, including the North American Junior/Young Rider Championship Region 1 team and Dressage at Devon. Her expertise extended into management, officiating and volunteering.
