DEVON, Pennsylvania, Sept. 30–Christopher Hickey and Witness Hilltop captured the Intermediaire I Freestyle Sunday to take his second of three small tour competitions–both victories with personal best scores–at Dressage at Devon CDI-W.

Davd Marcus and Don Kontes won the Olympic Grand Prix Special for a Canadian sweep of the big tour.

Chris of Colora, Maryland, and the nine-year-old KWPN gelding (Hamlet x Francis x Burggraaf) scored 73.775 per cent to win the Freestyle with Canada’s Evi Strasser and Renaissance Tyme second on 72.450 per cent and Kathy Priest of Versailles, Kentucky, third on 70.850 per cent.

In the Prix St. Georges, Chris and Witness were awarded 69.825 per cent while Kimberly Herslow of Stockton, New Jersey, on Rosmarin were second on 69.518 per cent and Lars Petersen, of Wellington, Florida and Chicco Roslev third on 68.333 per cent.

Heather Mason of Lebanon. New Jersey, and Zar won the Intermediaire I with a score of 70.447 per cent with Canada’s Diane Creech on Robbie W second on 70.079 per cent and Lars Petersen and Chicco Roslev third on 69.842 per cent.

In the Olympic Grand Prix Special Sunday, David Marcus and Don Kontes were awarded 69.400 per cent for the win with fellow Canadian Ashley Holzer and Degas 12 second on 68.400 per cent and Eliana Cordia van Reesema also of Wellington on Jewel’s Adelante third on 67.556 per cent.

David won the World Cup Grand Prix on Chrevi’s Capital while Canadian Olympic team mate Jacqueline Brooks and D’Niro won the Frestyle.
