MUNICH, Germany, May 17–Sweden’s Tinne Vilhelmsson-Silfvén rode Don Auriello, the 10-year-old Hanoverian gelding she plans to be her Olympic mount, to victory in the Pferd International CDI3* Grand Prix Thursday.
Tinne, who began competing Don Auriello (Don Davidoff x Wey o mey x White Star) 15 months ago and rode in the World Cup Final in April, scored 74.213 per cent. Austria’s Renate Voglsang and Fabriano 58 were second on 71.830 per cent.
Austria’s Victoria Max-Theurer on Eichendorff 10 and Hans Peter Minderhoud of The Netherlands on Donna Silver tied for third 71.723 per cent.
Dutch rider Edward Gal filled the fifth and sixth places with Glock’s Undercover on 71.574 percent and Blue Hors Romanov on 71.362 per cent, respectvely.
The outing on Undercover was their first in a CDI while for Romanov it was only their second international show.
