Matthias Alexander Rath will train on his young horses with Sjef Janssen, the Dutch national team coach, but not until after this summer’s Olympics.

The arrangement between Matthias, who took over the ride on Totilas a year ago and is coached by his father, Klaus Martin Rath, and Sjef will be with Bretton Woods and other young horses, according to PferdSport International.

Training was supposed to begin immediately but the Dutch federation intervened and arangement was deferred until after the Games in London.

Sjef’s contract with the Dutch federation runs through the Olympics.
