ODENSE, Denmark, Oct. 21–Germany’s Brigitte Wittig on her Blind Date won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Friday, reversing placings with compatriot Fabienne Lütkemeier on D’Agostino who won the Grand Prix Thursday in the kickoff of the 2011/12 World Cup season in western Europe.
With an elegant and relaxed ride, Brigitte and Blind Date were last in the class but posted a score of 73,311 per cent with Fabienne and D’Agostino second on 68.244 per cent and Denmark’s Daniel Bachmann on Donna Silver third on 67,556 per cent.
Fabienne and D’Agostino won the Grand Prix Thursday with Brigitte and Blind Date second.
However, D’Agostino was more tense Friday, apparently affected by the environment.
The World Cup Grand Prix is scheduled for Saturday and the Freestyle Sunday in the first of nine qualifying competitions throughout western Europe for a place in the Final in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, next April.
