MELBOURNE, Australia, June 12–Chantal Wigan and Ferero won their third straight World Cup qualifier in the Asia/Pacific League with a victory at Melbourne Sunday night.
Chantal and the 13-year-old KWPN Ferro gelding scored 68.925 per cent with Heath Ryan and Regardez Moi in second on 68.450 per cent and Gitte Donvig and Port Said 10 third on 65.475 per cent.
The pair who returned home late last year after training in Europe, won the World Cup qualifiers at Boneo Park and Werribee, both in Victoria, in March. The league has six qualifiers leading to the World Cup Final in ‘s-Hertogenbosh, The Netherlands, April 18-22, 2012.
