ADDINGTON, England, April 23–Laura Bechtolsheimer rode Andretti H to victory in the Addington Manor CDI3* Grand Prix Friday, narrowly edging fellow Briton Charlotte Dujardin and Fernandez in the first international competition of the year for the World Games triple silver medalist.

Laura and the 16-year-old Hanoverian gelding scored 72.809 per cent–the second highest score since the pair started Grand Prix three years ago.

Charlotte and the 11-year-old gelding that she was riding at a CDI Grand Prix for the first time, scored 71.894 per cent. Charlotte has owned Fernandez since the horse was three years old. He was competed successfully at Grand Prix on the Continent over the winter by World Games British team member Carl Hester, who trains Charlotte.

The Netherlands’ Christa Laarakkers and Divoza Horseworld Ovation were third with 69.324 per cent.
