Sweden’s Charlotte Haid Bondergaard will be the new rider of Triviant, the 11-year-old Dutch-bred gelding that was competed at Grand Prix for two years by Germany’s Matthias Alexander Rath.
Bought from Klas-Martin Rath, the horse is expected to be in Charlotte’s stable next week.
“I am very excited and Triviant is a lovely horse to ride and to handle,” said Charlotte, a member of Sweden’s dressage team.
Triviant and Matthias placed eighth in the 2010 World Cup Final.
The pair also started in both Stockholm and Goteborg so Triviant is no stranger to Sweden.
Sweden’s Chef d´Equipe Bo Jena said, “I have seen Triviant both in training and in competition and I think he will suit Charlotte very well. I am looking forward to seeing them together in the near future.”
