FRANKFURT, Germany, Dec. 17–Sanneke Rothenberger on Deveraux OLD won the individual test at the Young Rider World Cup Final on Friday. with her team mate Fabienne Lütkemeier on D’Agostino in second place and go into the Saturday night final hot favorites to take the title.

The German pair scored 76.842 per cent per cent and 75.368 per cent, respectively, while Denmark’s Anna Kasprzak on Lankjaergaard’s Donna Fetti finished in third place with 71.842 per cent.

Most of the 14 riders from 13 nations overcame opening day nerves from Thursday to post higher scores in the individual test Thursday.

The highest finishing non-European was again Meagan Davis, 21, of Stone Ridge, New York on Bentley.

She and the 17-year-old Danish warmblood gelding scored 66.00 per cent for sixth place and goes into the Young Rider World Cup A Final Saturday night. The B Final is Sunday.

Meagan was also the only rider to wear a safety helmet and, during the awards ceremony, was congratulated by Gustav Svalling of Sweden who was president of ground jury.

Australia’s Megan Bryant, 19, on the 13-year-old Australian warmblood, Donnabella, turned in a strong performance for 63.895 per cent and eighth place with Canada’s Jaimie Holland on Fleurina scoring 63.526 per cent for ninth place.
