LINCOLN, Nebraska, Dec. 15–Meagan Davis, in Germany to compete with her horse, Bentley in the Young Rider World Cup, has been awarded a $4,500 grant by The Dressage Foundation. She will use the money to train with Hubertus Schmidt of Germany after the World Cup.

“Dressage training and riding is my passion and will be my career,” said Meagan of Stone Ridge, New York. “This is an incredible training opportunity that will further my education and advance Bentley.

“The knowledge I will gain from this experience will also benefit my students, the kids that I coach at Lendon Gray’s Youth Dressage Festival, the Dressage 4 Ponies Clinic riders, as well as the horses I train.”

The foundation, founded in 1989, offers grants and scholarships to dressage enthusiasts at all levels, from young riders, to adult amateurs, to high performance.
