LEXINGTON, Kentucky, Sept. 27–Ilse Schwarz, a dressage trainer and competitor, is providing ride-by-ride commentary of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games dressage competition on the dressage-news Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/pages/Wellington-FL/Dressage-News/238956900355.
Ilse, a contributing editor to dressage-news.com who has covered World Equestrian Games in Rome in 1998 and Aachen in 2006 as well as several World Cup Finals and major competitions around the world, provided coverage on the first day of the Grand Prix team competition. She will continue with the commentary through the remainder of the Grand Prix, the Grand Prix Special on Wednesday and the freestyle on Friday night.
Ilse is an Australian who moved to the United States more than 12 years ago to pursue a career as a dressage trainer and competitor.
