KRONBERG, Germany, July 24–Germans Fabienne Meier Lütke won the 2010 European Young Rider championship and Charlott-Maria Schürmann took the Junior title following their teams’ victory earlier in the competition.
Fabienne won gold with D’Agostinof with a score of 77.895 per cent in the musical freesytyle with fellow German Sanneke Rothenberger on Devereaux winning silver on 77.158 per cent and bronze going to Danielle van Mierlo of the Netherlands on BMC Ucento scoring 74.36 per cent.
In the Junior division, Charlott-Maria Schürmann on the 17-year-old Hanoverian World of Dreams scored 74.05 per cent to take the gold, just ahead of Denmark’s Catherine Dufour on Atterupgaards Cassidy with 73.84 per and bronze going to Holland’s Danielle Houtvast on Rambo with 73.42 per cent.
