ACHLEITEN, Austria, June 13–Victoria Max-Theurer swept all the Grand Prix contests at her home CDI3*, winning the Grand Prix and the Special on Augustin OLD and the Grand Prix and the Freestyle on Eichendorff.

In the Special on Sunday, she scored 73.670 per cent on her European Championship mount that is coming back from an illness over winter, with Spain’s Beatriz Ferrer-Salat on Delgado second on 73.080 per cent and Germany’s Nicole Glaser Käppler and Linas 2 third on 67.330 per cent.

Victoria won the Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday with the best ever score on Eichendorff.

Victoria, Austria’s No. 1 rider, and the 12-year-old Westphalian stallion scored 76.20 per cent with Spain’s Beatriz Ferrer-Salat on Faberge at 74.45 per cent for second and Austria’s Nikolaus Erdmann on Danny Wilde third with 71.55 per cent to finish in the same order as the Grand Prix qualifier on Friday. The European-based Australian Hayley Beresford on Relampago do Retiro was fourth with 70.85 per cent and Klimko Olga of the Ukraine on Highlight 36 in fifth place with 70.10 per cent.

Eichendorff was “perfect” in Saturday’s freestyle, Victoria said, eclipsing the previous high of 75.550 per cent in Hagen, Germany, in April.

“Eichendorff was sharp today and our new long program is simply very good,” said the two-time Olympian.
