RHEINBERG, Germany, Apr. 11–Isabell Werth’s Olympic gold medal horse Satchmo has become a limited edition model horse to go on sale at the Munich International Horse Show in Germany May 13-16.
The model was created by Schleich that creates and sells toy models like the famous Smurfs and a portion of the proceeds will go to Christoffel Blindenmission, a German-based project that helps disabled persons in poor nations.
“The toy will be a limited edition, true to detail right down to the heart-shaped spot on his forehead,” Isabell said. “The company has already received requests from all over the world – something that makes me especially happy since a part of the proceeds will go to the Christoffel Blindenmission, a project I support.”
