WELLINGTON, Florida, Mar. 8–The Dressage Under the Stars Series at the Players Club has dedicated this Wednesday night’s performance to raising funds for Courtney King-Dye who is in the hospital after an accident left her in a coma. Highlights will be televised by WHDT World Sports.
Morgan Heinrich, a student of Courtney’s, will ride a freestyle on the polo field under the lights in front of the Players Club for the dedication to raise funds to defray medical costs.
Carol Cohen, organizer of the event, will be offering green ribbons for head injury awareness.
Donations will be collected during the event. Checks should be made payable to Courtney King-Dye.
WHDT World Sports will prepare a special of the dedication to be broadcast this coming weekend.
“This is the last of the weekly events before the finale and the series that began in January has been a great success,” Carol said. “This is an opportunity to make it much more and join in helping a true star in her time of need.”
At next week’s finale, winners from the previous weeks will compete for $10,000 worth of prizes.
