USEF logoLEXINGTON, Kentucky, Jan. 27–The 2010 Collecting Gaits Farm/USEF Dressage Festival of Champions which will serve as the selection trials for the U.S. team for Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games will be held in Gladstone, New Jersey over the weekends Aug. 6-8 and Aug. 13-15.

The U.S. Equestrian Federation, announcing the dates Wednesday, said that the first half of the Grand Prix National Dressage Championship and the Intermediaire I Championship will run over the first weekend. The Junior, Young Rider and Young Adult Brentina Cup, as well as the conclusion of the Grand Prix National Dressage Championship will  be held on the second weekend.

The Grand Prix national championship will also serve as the official selection trial for the U.S. team for the WEG to be held in Kentucky Sept. 25 to Oct. 10.

Plans call for the combinations selected for the U.S. team to remain in training at the USET Foundation facility then go directly to Lexington for the WEG. Dressage at WEG begins Sept. 27 with the Grand Prix team competition and ends with the Grand Prix Freestyle under lights at night on Oct. 1.

USEF/NAJYRC qualifying competition lists have been updated for each region and are posted at the site, in addition to national ranking lists for the Junior, Young Rider, and ‘Brentina Cup’ divisions now updated weekly.

The USEF National Developing Horse Dressage Championship sponsored by the Dutta Corporation & Performance Sales International, and the Markel/USEF National Young Horse Dressage Championships will be held July 22 – 25 at the Lamplight Equestrian Center in Wayne, Illinois.
