LAUSANNE, Switzerland, Oct. 10–With a lull between the summer and winter circuits, there were only small ripples at the top of the FEI World Individual Dressage Rankings for September.

The Netherlands’ Adelinde Cornelissen and Parzival remained atop the standings for the second straight month while the large point totals built up by Germany’s Isabell Werth and Satchmo 78 kept them in second place and Holland’s superstar couple of Edward Gal and Moorlands Totilas filled the third spot.

Anky van Grunsven remained in fourth place with Salinero, but moved up one spot to seventh place with IPS Painted Black, with Werth and Warum Nicht FRH slipping one place to eighth.

Top level international competition resumes in earnest next week with the first of nine World Cup events leading to the Final in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, next March 25-28.
