WELLINGTON, Florida, Oct. 14, 2026–A dispute that led to the firing of Murray Kessler as chief executive officer of Wellington International has been resolved with both parties citing “mishandliong” by the ownership group, Wellington Lifestyle Partners.
A joint statement by Murray and Lenore Brown, Wellington International’s marketing executive whose allegations triggered the dispute, issued a joint statement that a civil lawsuit she filed had been withdrawn with no payment or “other consideration” from her former boss.
The announcement by the lawyer Tama Beth Kudman said the resolution “follows a greater understanding by both parties of the circumstances surrounding the dispute and the way it was inappropriately handled by Wellington Lifestyle Partners,” owner of Wellington International. “Both believe that opportunities for open communication and an earlier, more constructive resolution were lost as the matter escalated.”
Murray, a successsful business executive, was quoted: “For more than four decades, I have built my career and reputation as a leader, both within equestrian sport and beyond, on integrity, fairness, and respect for others. Those who have worked alongside me throughout my career know the values by which I have always conducted myself. I am grateful that Lenore and I have reached a better understanding of the circumstances surrounding this matter and can now move forward.”
Lenore said that what began as a misunderstanding “escalated into a deeply distressing and adversarial experience” due to mishandling of the situation by Wellington Lifestyle Partners.
“The way this matter was handled, and the lack of opportunities for clear communication and resolution, contributed to a situation that felt increasingly hostile and, at times, abusive. Having gained a fuller understanding of Murray’s experience as well, I regret the personal and professional consequences this has had for him. I have independently decided to withdraw my claims against Murray and believe it is time for us both to move forward.”
