WELLINGTON, Florida, Jan. 22, 2026–U.S. Olympian Kasey Perry-Glass rode Heartbeat W.P. to victory on a personal best score in the Global Dressage Festival CDI3* Grand Prix Thursday.

Kasey and the 14-year-old gelding scored 72.022% in the pair’s first competition since the World Equestrian Festival Nations Cup in Aachen, Germany last July.

The performance was dominating for Kasey and Heartbeat that she has competed internationally and on both sides of the Atlantic for two years.

Kasey, based in Wellington, rode Dublet on the U.S. team that earned bronze at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Tina Konyot, also of Wellington and a rider on the American team at the London Games, was runner up with a score of 68.391% on the 12-year-old gelding Grover.

Christian Simonson’s first international outing at Global on Fleau de Baian, 16-year-old stallion previously competed by Holland’s Adelinde Cornelissen, ended on a disappointing note: eliminated for blood from a small nick on the horse’s lip.
