WELLINGTON, Florida, Jan. 26, 2025–The Danish Warmblood stallion Jackpot was ridden to victory by Jennifer Williams in the inaugural Global Dressage Festival Future Challenge for horses aged five and six while Molly O’Brien on Fortunato H2O claimed the 2025 opening Buffalo Wild Wings developing Prix St. Georges.
Jennifer of Olympia, Washington and the six-year-old Jackpot (Janeiro Platinum x IPS Bon Bravour) were awarded 76.600% by the panel of three FEI judges in the centerpiece international arena.
Sarah Piskorski on her American-bred five-year-old gelding Gameboy (Grand Galaxy Win x Olympic Ferro) scored 75.000%, with only two entries in the first of five events. The top five qualify for the final the last week of the Global circuit at the end of March.
Molly O’Brien of Loxahatchee, Florida on the nine-year-old Oldenburg stallion Fortunato H2O (Floriscount x Rascalino) won the Buffalo Wild Wings developing Prix St. Georges on a score of 73.676%.
Mary Haskins Gray of Wellington on the eight-year-old Westfalen gelding Rutherford (Rock Forever x Fürst Heinrich) was runner-up on 72.402%.
The top two in each St. Georges qualifier earns a start in the final.
