LONDON, Dec. 18, 2024–Britain’s popular Olympic partnership of Becky Moody and her home bred Jagerbomb posted a personal best score to win the London International Horse Show World Cup Grand Prix Wednesday.
Becky and the 10-year-old KWPN gelding scored 76.696% in the first competition for the pair since the Paris Games almost six months ago where they were last-minute replacements for the suspended Charlotte Dujardin and Imhotep.
The duo came out on top of a lineup of 14 combinations that included the World Champion pair of Charlotte Fry and Glamourdale.
Norway’s Isabel Freese on Total Hope OLD, the 12-year-old Totilas stallion, was runner-up on 76.000%.
Charlotte Fry, a fellow Briton, and the 13-year-old stallion Glamourdale, placed third on 75.217%.
The Freestyle to determine points toward qualifying for the championship Final in Basel, Switzerland in April is scheduled for Thursday night.
