HAGEN, Germany, Sept. 28, 2024–Isabell Werth completed her first Big Tour competition on Gut Wettlkam’s D’avie FRH with victory in the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Saturday while fellow German Katharina Hemmer on Denoix PCH captured the CDI4* Grand Prix. Sweden’s Patrik Kittel and Forever Young HRH won the CDI4* Freestyle.
Isabell and the 12-year-old stallion were awarded 73.170% for the victory after placing second in their first outing in the Grand Prix Friday.
Patrik Kittel, winner of the Grand Prix on Zoulmate, 13-year-old Westfalen stallion, was runner-up on 72.447% in the Special.
Lisa Müller on the 11-year-old gelding Gut Wettlkam’s Zonik Hit OLD placed third on 71.021%.
Katharina Hemmer on the 12-year-old Oldenburg gelding Denoix easily won the CDI4* Grand Prix to qualify for the Special on a score of 75.717%.
Portugal’s Nuno Palma Santos on the nine-year-old Fortuna S FRH was runner-up on 71.543% with Sweden’s Juliette Ramel on Gideon K.H. third on 71,000%.
Patrik Kittel and the 12-year-old Westfalen mare Forever Young took the CDI4* Freestyle on 79.325%.
Sönke Rothenberger of Germany on the 10-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding Fendi was runner-up on 78.925%.
Belgium’s Flore de Winne on her Olympic mount Flynn placed third on 78.675%. The pair won the Grand Prix Friday.
