PARIS, Sept. 6, 2024–The United States won team gold at the Paralympic Games Friday with the Netherlands taking silver and Germany bronze. The American squad of two individual gold and one silver medalists claimed the first team gold for the USA.
Team results for USA were Fiona Howard on Diamond Dunes 80.000%, Rebecca Hart on Floratina 78.567% and Roxanne Trunnell on Fan Tastico H 77.000% for a total of 235.567. The Netherlands scored 232.850 with Germany on 223.751.
Sixteen nations fielded teams in the competition at the magnificent Château of Versailles which also hosted the Olympic equestrian competitions of dressage, eventing and jumping.
