WELLINGTON, Florida, Feb. 22, 2024–Susan Pape of Great Britain rode Harmony’s V-Plus to a clear victory in the Global Dressage Festival CDI3* Grand Prix Thursday maintaining a string of top placing for the 10-year-old stallion.
Susan and the Oldenburg stallion ownd by Harmony Sport Horses and the Germany-based rider scored 71.319% the win.
Spain’s Pablo Gómez Molina on Servus Ymas, 11-year-old Hanoverian stallion, was runner-up on 68.783%.
“He’s really being very great,” said Susan after the ride. “I mean, for his age, and he doesn’t have so much mileage in the ring and I think there is still lots to prove of but I think the quality is there and once he has more strength I think it’s going to be super.”
This was the third year in Wellington for V-Plus starting at national level and moving up to Big Tour late last year.
She is working with British team rider Gareth Hughes and her husband but Susan returns home in a couple of weeks with plans to compete at Hagen, Germany in April.
