ACHLEITEN, Austria, June 18, 2023–Victoria Max-Theurer on Abegglen FH NRW won the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday to cap dominating performances on the Westfalen gelding and her World Championship mount Birkhof’s Topas FBW.
Victoria and the 13-year-old Abegglen scored 81.735% for their eighth victory two days after capturing the Grand Prix.
Germany’s Laura Strobel on the Max-Theurer-owned Valparaiso, 12-year-old Westfalen stallion, was runner-up on 77.650%.
On Birkhof’s Topas FBW, a 12-year-old Baden-Württemberg stallion, Victoria won the Grand Prix Friday and the Grand Prix Special with 74.489% the next day.
Germany’s Dorothee Schneider, making her Big Tour debut on the 11-year-old Westfalen gelding Dayman, was runner-up on 72.277% in the Special.
