Expression of interest to stage the 2030 World Championships are being sought by the FEI, the International Equestrian Federation that governs the seven international horse sports.
Prospective organizers of one or more of the disciplines have to submit interest to the FEI by Dec. 11–two months from Monday.
Aachen, Germany, the premier host of horse sports with the annual World Equestrian Festival CHIO, successfully staged the 2026 championships of dressage, driving, eventing, jumping, vaulting and para-dressage. Endurance was staged separately elsewhere.
Bids for mutiple disciplines are preferred by the FEI–if all are included the event would be named World Equestrian Games–and wants to see dressage and para-dressage combined in a proposal.
Formal bidding launches next Jan. 18 with a deadline of Mar. 19. Allocation of the championships will be made by the FEI board next June.
USA twice hosted World Equestrian Games of all disciplines at the time–Lexington, Ketucky in 2010 and Tryon, North Carolina in 2018. Since then, other venues across the country have become capable of hosting championships, from newly created show grounds to expanded and re-developed facilities.
