Quinn Iverson posted the biggest win of the young American’s career when she rode Gremlin 41 to victory in the Neustädter Pferdesommer CDI4* Grand Prix Special in Germany, beating her coach, three-time Olympian Adrienne Lyle on Helix.
Quinn and the 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding owned. by Billie Davidson scored 70.745%, the first Big Tour result above 70% since the partnership beginning international Grand at the Global Dressage Festival near her home in Wellington, Florida just over four months ago. The duo began competing at international Small Tour 2 1/2 years ago
This was only the second European show for Quinn, aged 28, and Gremlin, having competed in the CDI3* for the first time at Hagen, Germany a month ago.
Adrienne and Helix, her mount at the rider’s third Olympics in Paris in 2024, was runner-up on 70.383%.
The American contingent of Adrienne and riders she coaches, Quinn and Katie Duerrhammer on Rosebank VH at Small Tour dominated this competition that was separate from the official U.S. schedule for the squad of four selected ofor the World Championships that begin in Aachen, Germany next week.
The Netherlands’ Dominique Filion on Kha Diva Corieta Texel placed thrd on 68.702%.
Meagan Davis, a reserve on Toronto Lightfoot for the U.S. team at Aachen, joined the contingent and placed fifth on 67.894% in Sunday’s Special.
