Jacques Van Daele, the chief dressage steward for years at the Festival of Champions in Aachen, Germany, has died of cancer at the age 72.
Jacques of Belgium was an international dressage judge and the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) chief steward for dressage.
He officiated at numerous major championships and undertook judging assignments around the world.
