ROTTERDAM, JUNE 20, 2026–Marieke van der Putten and Zantana Rs2 OLD won the CDI4* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday, logging a personal best score to post a double victory on her nation’s biggest stage.
Marieke and the 12-year-old German-bred mare scored 84.580% for the win two days after claiming the Grand Prix also on a personal best 77.957%.
The results of Marieke and Zantana and the second place of Dinja van Liere on the 9-year-old stallion Mauro Turfhorst in the Special earlier in the day raised prospects for the Netherlands less than two months from the World Championships in nearby Aachen, Germany.
The standings in the Freestyle provided the Dutch couple with a big margin over runner-up Corentin Pottier of France on Gotilas du Feuillard, 15-year-old KWPN gelding, on 76.635%.
Rowena Weggelaar, also of the Netherlands, on the 18-year-old KWPN gelding Don Quichot placed third on 75.475%.
