OTTAWA, May. 31, 2026–Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu and Jaccardo completed their return to competition with a win Sunday in the CDI3* Grand Prix Special for a double victory for Canada’s top partnership.
Brittany and the 12-year-old Dutch-bred gelding scored 71.915% in the all-Canadian Special after earlier capturing the Grand Prix.
Brittany are Jaccardo, owned by Jill Irving, withdrew after the horse was cast just days before the World Cup Final in Fort Worth, Texas for which they had qualified as one of three North American combinations.
Camille Carier Bergeron on the 16-year-old Oldenburg mare Finnländerin on 70.128% placed second as the the 2024 Olympic team pair did in the Grand Prix.
Naïma Moreira Laliberté and the 19-year-old gelding Statesman placed third on 68.574%.
