OTTAWA, May. 29, 2026–Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu and Jaccardo won the CDI3* Grand Prix Friday in a return to competition since the pair missed a start in what would have been the rider’s first World Cup Final.
Brittany and the 12-year-old Dutch-bred gelding were awarded 72.565% for the win after Florida’s winter circuit of top three finishes. Jaccardo owned by Jill Irving was withdrawn days before the Final in Fort Worth, Texas last month after being cast in his stall.
Fellow Canadian team rider Camille Carier Bergeron on the 16-year-old Oldenburg mare Finnländerin posted a personal best 71.674% for runner-up. Camille and Finnländerin competed at the Olympics in Paris in 2024.
Naïma Moreira Laliberté also of Canada rode Statesman, the 19-year-old gelding she has competed the past eight years to third place on 69.044%. The duo were also on Canada’s 2024 Olympic team as well as at the 2022 World Championship and two Pan American Games.
