MYAKKA CITY, Florida, May 1, 2026–Kevin Kohmann in the Big Tour debut of the American-bred Sonata MF won TerraNova CDI3* Grand Prix Friday.
Kevin and the 11-year-old American Hanoverian mare (Sir Donnerhall I x Don Principe) were awarded 69.761%.
Kevin also placed third on Famous, 15-year-old Hanoverian gelding, on 68.261%
Sarah Tubman also of Wellington on the 17-year-old gelding Dow Jones 1 was runner-up on 68.783%.
Sonata was acquired by Diamante Farms, owned by his mother-in-law, last December. The horse had been competed from young horse classes through Small Tour by Amanda Perkowski.
Devon Kane, Kevin’s wife, rode Sonata at Int. II during Wellington’s Global Dressage Festival.
