Geñay Vaughn and her family’s Gino have been elevated to the dressage pre-elite program after a year of raising her score level.

Geñay of Elk Grove, California and the 15-year-old KWPN gelding owned by her mother, Michele, joins three other combinations on the pre-elite list announced by US Equestrian.

Under the dressage pathway programs made possible by Akiko Yamazaki and her Four Winds Farm, combinations can earn different levels of performances to receive training and other support.

The elite program is:
–Marcus Orlob of Loxahatchee, Florida and Jane, a 12-year-old KWPN mare (Desperado x Metall) owned by Alice Tarjan and,
–Christian Simonson based in Wellington, Florida and Indian Rock, a 13-year-old KWPN stallion (Apache x Vivaldi) owned by Zen Elite Equestrian Center.

The pre-elite group comprises:
–Anna Marek of Dunnellon, Florida and Fayvel, 16-year-old KWPN gelding (Zizi Top x Huston) owned by Cynthia Davila;
–Endel Ots of Wellington and Zen Elite’s Bohemian, a 16-year-old Westfalen gelding (Bordeaux x Samarant) owned by Zen Elite Equestrian Center;
–Kasey Perry-Glass of Wellington and Heartbeat W.P., 14-year-old KWPN gelding (Charmeur x Ferro) owned by Diane Perry, and
–Geñay Vaughn of Elk Grove, California and Gino, a 15-year-old KWPN gelding (Bretton Woods x Haarlem) owned by Michele Vaughn.
