All “regionally relevant viruses including Bornavirus” have been ruled out in the sudden and unexpected death of Diallo BB, the 11-year-old rising star of Jessica von Bredow-Werndl.
Benjamin Werndl, Jessica’s brother, told DRESSAGE-NEWS.com that a possible explanation for the death of Diallo Jan. 6 was “an unpredictable underlying cause, such as a cerebral infarction”–commonly called a stroke.
“There were no warning symptoms before and he never had fever,” he said.
In just eight months since starting Big Tour with Diallo in April last year, Jessica had risen to No. 10 in the world and the partnership was considered a successor to her Tokyo and Paris Olympic star TSF Dalera BB.
