KRONENBERG, Netherlands, Nov. 28, 2025–Marieke van der Putten of the Netherlands rode Zantana Rs2 OLD to a personal best score to win the CDI3* Grand Prix Friday and ending the winning streak of Britain’s Charlotte Dujardin since returning from a year-long suspension.
Marieke and the 11-year-old mare were awarded 73.457% with three of the five judges placing the pair first and two favoring Charlotte on Brave Heart.
Marieke and Zantana were on Holland’s European Championship team in August just three months after starting Big Tour.
In her fifth start since returning to competition last month, Charlotte and the 11-year-old gelding scored 72.804% for runner-up.
She and Brave Heart partnered in her first international show back for a pair of victories, followed by a double win on Alive and Kicking.
Emmelie Scholtens, also of the Netherlands, debuted the 10-year-old KWPN stallion Kyton at Big Tour for third place on a score of 71.022%. Emmelie’s prime mount for 2023 and through the Paris Olympics last year was Indian Rock that was sold to Zen Elite Equestrian Center, based in Florida, and is being competed successfully by the USA’s Christian Simonson.
