Dorothee Schneider on Vainqueur won the Görlitzer, Germany CDI3* Grand Prix Friday in the 12-year-old stallion’s first international event in a year.
The German team rider and Vainqueur were awarded 71.326% for the win, the first for the pair in five Big Tour starts.
Fellow German Carina Harnisch and DSP Sheldon Cooper, 10-year-old gelding, was runner-up on 69.870%.
Dominique Filion of the Netherlands, making the CDI Grand Prix debut on the 13-year-old gelding The Boss placed third on 69.500%.
