VERDEN, Germany, Aug. 9, 2025–Red Viper was ridden by Holland’s Dinja van Liere to World Champion 6-year-old Saturday. The KWPN stallion (Romanov Blue Hors x Sir Sinclair) was the five-year-old champion with a different rider in 2024.
Dinja, a Paris Olympic competitor, and Red Viper scored 90.400% for the victory, with 9.8 for trot, 8.5 walk, 9 canter, 8.4 submission and 9.5 perspective.
Brandtbjergs Divya, a Danish Warmblood mare (Hesselhoej Donkey Boy x Don Olymbrio L) with Anders Sjöbeck Hoeck in the saddle, was runner-up with 9.6 for trot, 9.2 walk, 9 canter, 8.2 submission and 9 for perspective for a final score of 90.000%, a personal best.
Endorphin FRH, a Hanoverian stallion (Escolar x Don Nobless) with Germany’s Greta Heemsoth aboard plac ed third on 88.600%. The horse was awarded 9.4 for trot, 7.9 walk, 9.3 canter, 8.5 submission and 9.2 perspective.
